Hallie - Thanks Becker! I have tons of signatures, but I never once thought to add the actual email text to them. You just saved me loads of time! (Jul. 21, 2008, 6:24am) Erik J. Barzeski - I do much of the same kinds of things, but I do it via TypeIt4Me. I recommend to all that they look into using software like that instead of signatures. The latest version will even prompt you for various fields - perfect for adding personalized info. (Mar. 20, 2008, 4:29pm) Neil Colwey - http://mailtemplate.mactank.com/ Does a bit more than signatures, but same concept. (Mar. 18, 2008, 11:03am) Mary R - Thanks, Scott - I just got that add-on. I didn't think gmail would be capable. (Mar. 14, 2008, 7:23pm) Scott - If you are a gmail user and use Firefox there is an add-on called "Clippings" that you can use to enter text just like that into your emails. (Mar. 14, 2008, 10:06am) Jen S - I can't believe I've never thought of this. I use the "Forms" function on Outlook for this and it is SO cumbersome. Thank you for sharing - I'm going to go set mine up now! (Mar. 14, 2008, 8:43am) Joy - This is so brilliant! Such an obvious but overlooked solution to life's little tasks! Thank you! (Mar. 13, 2008, 2:48pm) dana - [b]rilliant! Thank you so much for all you do - these shorts are soo appreciated and a highlight to my day! (Mar. 13, 2008, 12:33pm) Alex Maldonado - if anyone is wondering how to get the drop down box to show up in apple's mail program here is what you may need to do. start a new message, then select "customize" from the box with the 3 lines and triangle near the subject line. from there you simple check the box next to signatures and click ok. (Mar. 13, 2008, 9:41am) patricia - I was making drafts but THIS is awesome! (Mar. 13, 2008, 7:25am) Justin Hulse - Okay, b...this is genius! Thanks for the great tip. (Mar. 13, 2008, 12:41am) Airika Pope - I'm implementing the email signature for vendors right away. What a great way to make sure that the "procrastination" emails that are really VERY important get done! Thank you. (Mar. 13, 2008, 12:07am) gabriel.ryan. - and i thought i was so slick with my current signature... i just picked up shootq, and am hoping to dial in my email templates to minimize the time spent emailing so i can do more fun stuff, like learning to play poker. (Mar. 12, 2008, 11:42pm) DJ - [b]ounce (Mar. 12, 2008, 11:22pm) Daniel J Pesta - I wanted to let you know I really appreciate the two times you responded to me personally in an email. That is very rare among high end photographers. Thanks so much for being you and whether you wrote to me in a signature for some of it or not, I was really stoked to get an email from you. Thanks so much for all that you are doing not only for me but for the whole community. Throwing out your services too at WPPI for a free head shot, unreal. A bunch of photographers out in Grand Rapids, MI are starting to want to get together to create the trend of being more supportive and being tighter knit. Even if it is just us it will be a start to change the dynamics. Thanks B, your awesome, Daniel (Mar. 12, 2008, 10:46pm) Daniel J Pesta - This is sweet info, I always used it as a signature, what a life saver of time doing all the pre-writes. Thanks B (Mar. 12, 2008, 10:15pm) David Burke - Becker you are a good soul. Thank you for all that you do for this industry. See ya in Vegas! David Burke (Mar. 12, 2008, 9:43pm) Araxi - My family is going to thank you for all these extra time saving ideas! I absolutely love and appreciate them. (Mar. 12, 2008, 8:22pm) [ b ] e c k e r - oh erika, trust me, if you were a paying client, you'd get a personal greeting... but since you are one of the 30-50 photographers who email me daily, just be happy you got a reply at all! ;) (Mar. 12, 2008, 7:27pm) Kelli - Ya know what I love most [b] - these little tips are here one at a time. I feel like I take classes and stuff and I get overwhelmed with too much info at once. Making one small change can make a difference. This one is a life saver! (Mar. 12, 2008, 7:20pm) Louisa Coulthurst - Now that is a fantastic idea to save time! (Mar. 12, 2008, 7:08pm) Oleksandr - Great tip! Thank you for sharing! (Mar. 12, 2008, 6:59pm) Erika - Ok, now I understand why you wrote"hey there" when I emailed you... ha ha! My tip to you Becker is to just change to the persons name, "Hey Erika", itīsīmuch more personal and it takes just a second. /erika (Mar. 12, 2008, 6:13pm) Gregg Shaw - awesome tip...I never thought of using signatures for anything other than...my signature. (Mar. 12, 2008, 6:05pm) Chad Morgan - [b], one thing I still struggle with, is nailing exposure. Wondering if you might help some of us noobs out with a little insight into your on-the-shoot process for nailing the exposure in varying lighting situations. Thank you for everything you do! (Mar. 12, 2008, 5:48pm) ali - Thanks [b]! I had never thought of using signatures for this. You're such a star! (Mar. 12, 2008, 5:32pm) Melissa Rich - super great tips on the 'signatures' :) I use them, but no to that extent...I got some work to do now!! :) thanks man ! (Mar. 12, 2008, 5:28pm) Scott Hayne - Sweet Idea! My wife is gonna LOVE you. She is always pulling up old sent form emails and pasting them in a new message for other clients. After watching this, she said that signatures are her next project! (Mar. 12, 2008, 5:11pm) Naomi Fleming - Entourage on the Mac works really well for signatures too. They are such an enormous time saver. (Mar. 12, 2008, 5:08pm) Matthew Saville - I LOVE automated processes. I'm using signatures more and more, and trying to massage each one into something as universal as possible. Of course a little tweak for personalization is always good, but that's 30 seconds instead of 30 minutes! Sent ya some pics from Monday, and now I know how long it'll take you to fire off a reply email! Take care, =Matt= (Mar. 12, 2008, 4:50pm) Joe - How did you insert an image (logo) into the signature. I did not think that works with mail? (Mar. 12, 2008, 4:48pm) Nick - Becker are you sick? Your voice sounds raspy! (Mar. 12, 2008, 4:42pm) TonyaPeterson - Aren't you a clever one. Good tip (Mar. 12, 2008, 4:09pm) Lisa O'Connor - Thanks for the great signature suggestions - sometimes we....ahem I....get too busy to take time to do the simple things that make life a little less hectic!!
